Walk-In Closet a Must, But For What

Whenever I used to hear stories about how many shoes woman buy, it was often hard to believe. My first daughter and my wife have never shown any signs of a shoe addiction.  However, with my 2nd daughter, I've started to see some signs and I think that she may have an addiction to shoes. I hope that she is not beyond help and I'm seeking some good counseling for her.  I'm just glad she doesn't know who Imelda Marcos is.

A client of mine recently moved into their new home in Midway, which was built by Watts Construction who did a wonderful job. I took my wife earlier this week to see their new home and they had the coolest shoe storage closet which they purchased at Ikea.

So it is often now one of the criteria of buyers is to have a closet big enough for shoes.  If you have a shoe addiction and need some new ideas of where else you can hide, or I mean store some of your shoes, check out this article from Coldwell Banker for 8 Shoe Storage Ideas.

Don't Underestimate the Value of a Real Estate Professional

Last month marked my fourth year as a Realtor and I love being a Realtor.  Like any profession there are ups and downs, but overall I really enjoy helping people sell and buy real estate.

You'll see a link below to an article written by Chris Jensen the president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Utah and he is very eloquent in communicating the value of a Real Estate Professional in selling your home.

Before going to this article may I say that simply put I see my purpose as a Realtor is to help you get through any real estate transaction with as little stress as possible and with as much value as possible.

Value doesn't always equate to net dollar amount received or amount paid, but in real estate includes such things as responsiveness, communication and information. I work extra hard to be an expert as much as possible for my clients and provide the information that they need to make decisions that impact their transaction. Often the value of my work is not measurable when it comes to helping a wife get her home sold when her husband has already moved out of state, or to find the right property for a family here in Utah while they are out of state working to sell their property and get moved to Utah, or helping a land owner determine the maximum value of their property and how best to market that property.

I could list many more things but I think you get the idea.  Enjoy Chris' take on the value of a Real Estate Professional at this link, Don't Underestimate the Value a Real Estate Professional Brings to a Home Sale
